This highly functional and practical bag is the 2nd generation of our Heirloom Messenger. The leather we use in the Heirloom Messenger 2 is made from top-grade vegetable-tanned full-grain saddle leather that is hand-dyed and oiled. The bag is stitched with a heavy-duty polyester thread- and all of the hardware we use on it is solid cast brass. All the stress points are riveted with industrial-grade solid brass rivets. The front flap of the bag has 2 heavy-duty brass opening and closing latch locks that allow ease of access while also adding to the premium look. They allow you to both secure and close the bag with one hand. There is also a detachable tag holder that can hold a custom engraved brass nametag on the side of the bag. The back of the bag has a large quick-access pocket with a snap closure for quick access. This convenient pocket is perfect for carrying newspapers or passports and traveling documents. There is also a built-in luggage strap. The new shoulder strap has been upgraded with a wider adjustable shoulder pad and all stress points have been reinforced. The Heirloom Messenger 2 now sports a handle at the very top of the bag with a reinforced base and support structure. The inside of the bag is roomy and efficient. The bottom of the inside has built-in leather padding to protect your goods. There are two large dividers with the back laptop compartment, while the front can hold your documents and folders. There is also a large middle compartment for books and other larger gear. Three small pockets inside the bag can hold chargers, wallets, and other small items. On the sides, there are two enlarged pencil pockets, a key leash, and an eyeglass holder.
